🧠 Are Pandemic Babies Just... Built Different?

Okay, hear me out…
Is it just me, or are these pandemic babies lowkey little geniuses?

Like, how is it that my baby — who spent their toddler years glued to a screen, stuck in the house, and barely around other kids — somehow knows things I didn’t even teach them?

We’re talking:

  • Recognizing numbers early
  • Asking deep questions out of nowhere
  • Picking up on energy in the room like a whole grown person
  • And don’t even get me started on how they remember everything 🙃

They’re curious.
They watch.
They study.
And when they finally speak or act — it’s like they’ve already processed it five different ways in their head.

Pandemic babies aren’t just smart — they’re intentional.
And I don’t think it’s a coincidence.

People love to say, “Oh they’re just screen babies…”
Okay, and?
Even with a screen in front of them, they were learning. They weren’t just watching — they were analyzing.
Reading facial expressions. Mimicking emotions. Figuring out cause and effect from Cocomelon episodes.

They learned how to problem-solve, express themselves, and pick up on patterns —
Crazy, right?

These pandemic babies — they think deep.
They feel big.
They question everything.
And if you're raising one, I bet you've had at least one moment where you just stare at them like...
“Where did you even learn that?”

So no, it’s not just you.
You’re not imagining it.
These babies came here with something special.

💬 Got a little deep thinker at home? Drop one wild thing your pandemic baby has said or done that made you go, “...oh wow.”
Let’s give them their flowers. They're out here decoding the world one brilliant thought at a time.
